1.) First, you’ll dig 18 miles (30km) through earth’s crust,
2.) then 1800 miles (3000km) through the rock mantle,

4.) then 600 miles (1000km) through solid rock to reach the center, where the heat is 8132°F (4500°C).
By the time you reach your destination you would already have lost a few pounds.
