Did you know there are two kinds of camels? One is the Arabian camel that lives in Western Asia and Northern Africa. It has one hump and is called a Dromedary camel. The second kind is called a Bactrian camel and has two humps and lives in Mongolia and Chinese Turkistan.
Australia also has many camels, of which most are Dromedary camels.
Camels use the humps on their back to store fat which is used for energy so that they can walk very far in the desert. They store water in their stomachs.
